Meet Our Staff

Our Senior Pastor Rick Webb is a graduate from Spring Arbor College with a Philosophy/Religion major. Pastor Rick has traveled extensively, speaking in over 300 churches, seminars and camp meetings. He started preaching when he was 15 years old and became an Associate Pastor at the age of 16. Upon graduating, he assumed the Senior Pastorate of the First Church of God in Jackson Michigan in 1984. For eleven years, First Church of God enjoyed extensive and significant growth,
expansion, and revival. In 1995, Pastor Rick resigned the pastorate to devote his time to church planting, church revitalization, and speaking engagements. In the fall of 1998, Pastor Rick assumed the pastorate of the Fraser Road Church of God. Pastor
Rick is married to Linda and has six children: Joshua, Alisha, Cullen, Nathan,
Rachael, and Samuel.

Our Executive Pastor Jerry Johnston is a graduate of Belding High School. Pastor Jerry is an ordained minister in the Church of God. He is also a graduate of The Institute of Servant Leadership. Pastor Jerry served 4 years In the United States Marine Corps, 8 years as Youth Pastor at First Church of God in Greenville Michigan, and 12 years as Senior Pastor in Crystal, Michigan. The Crystal Congregation grew substantially and built a new church building debt free during that time. Pastor
Jerry was a bi-vocational Pastor and retired from General Motors after 34 years service. Pastor Jerry answered God's call to be our Executive Pastor on Jan. 1, 2000. He has the responsibility of the Administrative area of the church. Pastor Jerry is married to Bonnie and has 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law; Dirk & Pamela Huntly and Barbara Johnston, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Our Minister of Music Dawn Gillespie is a graduate of Midland High School, Supernatural Ministries Training Institute, and the Institute for Servant Leadership. She is bi-vocational working as an Administrative Assistant for the School/University Partnership Office at Saginaw Valley State University. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at age eight. She has taught Adult Sunday School and served as part of a worship team since 1980 as an instrumentalist (violin) and vocalist. Pastor Dawn has been the Worship Leader here at Fraser Road Church of God since 1993. She is married to Dave and has two sons, Michael and Marcus, and one step-daughter,
Lacey.

Our Youth Pastor Steve Karp is a graduate of Warner University with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry. Pastor Steve was ordained by the Church of God in Michigan in 2008. Pastor Steve started ministry with the youth here at Fraser Road in 2005 as the Youth Director. In 2006, he was voted to become the full time Youth Pastor. Pastor Steve was saved here at Fraser Road as a teenager and from that time begun to seek God’s will for his life. Feeling the call into ministry, he pursued a degree and ordination as he began to work with the youth. Youth ministry is his passion. He also enjoys playing the drums in the worship band and caring for the technology in the church. Pastor Steve was married to Alisha Webb in December of 2009.
